fake bird sounds = awesomeness!

Ok, here’s my Gruff Rhys (the opening act for Bright Eyes) post. I was going to tell you about his performance, but my friend Liam beat me to it. So, I am just going to quote what he wrote on his blog because I think it is nice and short and to the point:

Gruff Rhys, who usually plays as part of South Wales's Super Furry Animals took the stage and entertained us through a number of songs. His use of a loop pedal was hilarious, looping fake bird sounds, 'artificial bagpipes', drum beats and breathing noises.

So, there you have it, Gruff Rhys is very entertaining live!
I have uploaded his entire album (Yr Atal Genhedlaeth) because I think it is quite hard to find a copy in North America without paying a ridiculous amount for it.
