wow... and no nerds, not world of warcraft...

Gorgeous: that is probably the only word needed to describe Eluvium’s new album. Copia is a 55 minutes journey of extraordinary ambient, experimental, and contemporary classical music style. There are moments when Copia will remind listeners of Sigur Rós or The Album Leafs, but the addition of Eluvium’s clever classical compositions makes Copia different. The piano dominate tracks of "Prelude for Time Feelers" and "Radio Ballet" slightly resemble the style of Liszt or Chopin. Ironically, the hollow-sounding string somehow makes "After Nature" very fulfilling. Finally, the organ makes "Ostinato" sounds like something out of the Middle Ages. I know that it is beyond freezing in Toronto right now and no one wants to walk outside, but if you do, put on Copia and let it guide you though the long cold march.
