After months and months of hearing the name Tokyo Police Club, and being kind of interested in hearing the band’s music solely due to the band’s name, I have finally caved in and listened to A Lesson In Crime, TPC’s debut EP. It is a typical indie rock album with the typical indie rock sound. Don’t get me wrong, it is an excellent EP: fast, Strokes sounding rock songs. In my opinion, having seven songs on the EP is just the right amount before it becomes redundant; it will be interesting to see how they’d sound on a full-length release.Nature of the Experiment
