Klaxons opened their first ever North American tour on Easter Sunday in Toronto at The Lee’s Palace. For those of you who are seeing Klaxons for the first time, you are in for a surprise! If you are expecting a disco dance rave show, you are also in for a surprise! When it comes to live performances, Klaxons are anything but ‘new rave’. The concert on Easter Sunday was loud and the audience was nearly as aggressive as those at hardcore punk shows. Despite the style departure from their studio recordings, Klaxons sounded absolutely amazing! The vocals as well as the instrumentations were perfect! This is one of those must-see bands... so make sure you try to catch Klaxons when they invade your city!

Went to the Cold War Kids/Tokyo Police Club show last night at The Mod Club. Stupid me brought the camera, but forgot the memory card at home... so I was only able to take a handful of pictures. As I expected, Cold War Kids stole the show... Nathan Willett’s vocal was wonderful... that man can sing!!

I am seeing the Cold War Kids/Tokyo Police Club concert tonight! However, I am a little disappointed to find out that Cold Wars Kids is only playing for 45mins while Tokyo Police Club has a longer set and is actually the closing band. Personally, I rather see CWK for longer… hatever… i’m sure it'll be a fine show!
