I felt awfully sick on Friday night... and as many of you know, Bob Dylan is my cure for sickness. I listened to Dylan for hours that particular night, with songs like "Motorpsycho Nitemare", and of course "Stuck Inside Of Mobile With The Memphis Blues Again" on repeat!

Blur was my favourite band during my early high school years. In 1995, the band released their groundbreaking album The Great Escape; the same album with those memorable singles such as "Country House", "Charmless Man", "Stereotypes", and my personal favourite, "Universal". The futuristic single was backed by an incredible looking video directed by Jonathan Glazer. In my opinion, the Clockwork Orange inspired video is Blur’s best and it reminds as one of my favourite music videos of all time!

I got my buddy from Japan the new Pharoahe Monch CD, Desire, the other day. It is Pharoahe’s first studio album in a long long time... well... since Internal Affairs way back in 1999. That album featured the smash single "Simon Says", which I remember, was a huge anthem at my high school that year. In my opinion, "Simon Says" is one of the greatest hip-hop/rap singles of all time!

Wow... I haven’t posted a classic song of the moment in a while... about three months to be exact... anyways, Marcy Playground’s "Sex and Candy" came out during my junior high school years, either Grade 9 or 10, I don’t really remember. But one thing for sure, it was featured on every mixtape I made that year and I probably ruined my cassette player from rewinding back to that song countless times. "Sex and Candy" was a magehit, it was a number one hit on the U.S. Modern Rock Tracks chart for 15 long weeks, making it one of the best songs that came out during the late 90s!
