cult of youth: cult of youth

I have been meaning to post about the Cult Of Youth LP since I think May/June but kept forgetting... Anyway, Cult Of Youth is a band from New York City that sounds like something out of an epic, medieval or fantasy adventure movie. It is by far one of the most unique sounding bands/records in recent years. It is quite difficult to describe the sound of Cult Of Youth, it sort of sounds like a combination of The Pogues and Joy Division. It has that aggressiveness raw punk energy while producing a mysteriously dark atmosphere—it is so damn awesome!
